Incident Videos

Videos can be uploaded to Tactical Analyst on the web application. Videos will be attached to a specific incident and can be viewed or shared by other TA users. The Incident Videos tab is where you can view and upload these videos for the selected incident and board.

View a Video

Videos attached to the selected incident for the selected board appear on the Videos tab. The videos tab displays all of the attached videos in a list that you can sort, search or filter.

To view a videos, click on it in the videos list. A pop up will appear showing the videos and details about the videos including comments.

Click to view the video in fullscreen.

Show Videos on the Map

Each video uploaded to an incident is geotagged. This allows you to see where it was uploaded from (on web).

To show the videos on the map:

1. Check the Show on Map checkbox.

2. Click on the video on the map to view it.

Upload a Video

To upload a video to the selected incident:

1. Click Upload at the top of the Videos tab.

2. An upload pop up will appear. Click Select File to browse your computer and select a video to upload.

3. Add comments to the video.

4. Click Upload File.

Download Videos

Download a Single Video

To download a specific video:

1. Click next to the video you want to download.

2. Select Download and choose where to save the video on your computer.

Download All Videos

Click Download All at the top of the videos list and choose where to save the video on your computer.

Edit Video Details

To edit the video’s name or comments:

1. Click next to the video you want to edit in the videos list.

2. Select Edit.

3. Once you have made edits to the name and comments, click Save to apply the changes.

Sharing Videos Between Boards

Videos can be shared between boards for the selected incident.

To share a video to another board:

1. Click next to the video you want to share.

2. Select Share.

3. The Share Content pop up will appear with a list of boards for the selected incident. Check the boards you want to share the video to.

4. Click Share.

The boards that are checked indicate which boards the video is currently visible/shared in.

Unshare a Video

To unshare a video from a specific board:

1. Click next to the video you want to unshare.

2. Select Share.

3. The Share Content pop up will appear with a list of boards for the selected incident. Uncheck the boards you want to unshare the video to.

4. Click Share.

Sort Video List

By default the videos list is sorted by Created (Newest).

To change how the list is sorted, click Sort and select one of the following:

• Name (A-Z)

• Name(Z-A)

• Created (Newest)

• Created (Oldest)

Search Video List

You can search for videos by using the search bar at the top of the videos list. The videos list will filter down as you type your search.

Clear your search by clicking the in the search bar.

Search only searches the video name.

Filter Videos

To filter the videos list and map:

1. Click Filters in the video list.

2. Once you have set your filters, click Apply.

The videos list and map will be filters to only show videos based on your set filters.

Clear Video Filters

To clear any applied video filters, click Filters in the video list and select Clear All.
